DENVER BULLDOGS MEN'S TEAM

EST. 1997

The Denver Bulldogs men’s team is the flagship side of the club and one of the most successful Australian Rules Football programs in the USA. We combine a long history of national success with a welcoming environment where new and experienced players train together, push each other, and represent Denver on the national stage.

THE DENVER BULLDOGS

A Proven Championship Program

Founded in 1997, the Denver Bulldogs have become the most successful club in USAFL history, with multiple Division 1 men’s national championships. Over the years, Denver men’s sides have consistently competed at the highest level, earning a reputation for tough, skillful footy and strong club culture.

Today, the club fields a Division 1 men’s team and a men’s reserves side, giving players of different experience levels the chance to develop, compete, and chase hardware together in Denver colors.

A Team for Every Stage: Men’s & Reserves

The Bulldogs men’s program is built to include players at different stages of their footy journey:

  • Division 1 Men’s Team – for players aiming to compete at the highest level in tournaments and Nationals

  • Reserves Men’s Team – for developing players, returning players, and those who want more reps and game time

You can start wherever fits your fitness and experience, then move between squads as you grow. Either way, you train with the club, wear the same jumper, and are part of the same Bulldogs family.

Get Your Team Back as an Adult

For a lot of guys in the U.S., organized sport ends after high school or college, and that team‑room feeling disappears. Joining the Bulldogs gives you that back: proper trainings, real games, a ladder to chase, and a group of teammates who show up for each other on and off the field.

If you’ve missed having a team, a season, and something to train for, men’s footy in Denver is your chance to get all of that again—while learning a new sport that’s fast, physical, and seriously fun.

Men’s Team Culture: Hard Work, Good Mates

On the field, we take pride in competing hard, playing unselfish team footy, and upholding the standards that made Denver a respected club across the USAFL. Off the field, we’re mates first: we carpool to trainings, share post‑practice meals and beers, watch AFL games together, and support each other through life stuff that has nothing to do with footy.

Whether you’re pushing for a spot in the top side, easing back into sport after a break, or just looking for a good group of guys in a new city, you’ll find your place quickly.
