WHAT IS IT LIKE TO BE A BULLDOG?
The Denver Bulldogs are a nationally (and sometimes internationally) competing Australian Football League team with the USAFL. Although we have a few hometown scrimmages, most of our trainings prepare us for competitions. Our season runs from May to October, during which we compete in several tournaments (both home and away), Regionals, and Nationals; some years with more travel than others.

In addition to being a sports club, The Bulldogs are also a social club. Aimed at indulging the Australian members of our club, and the American, we hold numerous social events throughout the season. Both our men's and women's teams come together for watch parties, galas, dinner, post game drinks, and social nights out; we encourage everyone to take part of the fun!

Most importantly, The Bulldogs are a club for you. We're here to spread our love for footy and good competition and hope to have you along for the ride. All skill levels welcome!

WEEKLY PRACTICE
WHAT PRACTICE LOOKS LIKE
We're always preparing for competitions, so our weekday training sessions are more focused on skills and fitness. Sometimes we switch up our Saturday trainings with scrimmages, Cup Games, or inter-city games with other local teams. Footy is meant to be fun, so we'll build up the intensity throughout the season, and we welcome players of any skill, at any time!
Aussie Rules is a full contact sport but practices are minimal contact and new players will be able to ease into full contact to fit their comfort level. We meet everyone where they are!
Cleats and mouth guards are required for games but are only recommended for practices. Good shoes and plenty of water are all it takes for a great day!

Early or pre-season meetups are typically no tackle pickup games. Check out our schedule for dates!
