The 2007 PRAP (Player Review and Presentation) night at Bubba Gump's in downtown Denver went off like 1999. The club did a fantastic job recognizing player and sponsors alike, and the skits were the usual mix of outstanding (tribute to Ren) and outstandingly bad (Obie gone bad). Click on the title to read more about the evening and who the 2007 award winners were.

No. 3 seed Denver rolls through Pool B to take their sixth USAFL National Championship in 8 years! The Grand Final featured Denver vs. San Diego in a tough match. Many felt that San Diego had the upper hand going into the tilt, and for three quarters of the game it appeared they were right. But a gutsy, gritty performance coupled with Denver's never-say-die attitude sparked a legendary comeback in the second half. At the final siren, Denver made good on their quest for six. More details and pics will be posted shortly.
In another fantastic performance on the weekend, Denver's Reserves side led by Larry & Billy won their competition on percentage after throttling the Golden Gate reserves side 112 to 13, the highest point total and differential of the entire tournament.
And in a first for the Denver womens side, they combined with a skilled Arizona Lady Hawks to claim runners up in the womens comp.

The Denver Bulldogs bade farewell to one of the club's most prolific player, member and clubman on Sunday, January 21st. The day was a pub crawl format, with players taking Ren to significnat places that are synonimous with his tenure as a player, coach, and world class piss head yobbo. Locations isncluded many of the club's training grounds which required a kick; even in the blizzard like conditions, Ren, clothed in his 'Dogs kit, was forced to run his own sick invention, the 'power zone' at Garland Park. The steps at Red Rocks were also seen, and of course no day of drinking with Ren was complete without a visit to his favorite dive bar, Don's Mixed Drinks. Players serenaded him with the "I like" series, a simple song format Ren invented long ago. Truly, it was a day for one of Denver's most inspirational and beloved mates, Paul Renouf.
