Bulldogs defeat Kansas City and Milwaukee over the weekend

Quick update from our Kansas City trip this past weekend.  We had a successful tourney beating both KC (33-13) and Minnesota (29-1).  Equally important we left without any injuries and newer players continued to improve while getting valuable game time experience.  Great trip... now we must push to continue to improve our fitness and skills prior to Austin. General Announcements, Player News, Press Releases

The Denver Bulldogs are looking for one or two Good Australians to continue the USAFL tradition of a scholarship recipient spending a summer in the USA, and to be a part of the club for a season (May thru October). The focus of the scholarship is to provide an opportunity to live and play Australian Football in the USA. The player is expected to fulfill coaching, junior development and club development responsibilities. The experience includes the flexibility to travel throughout the US during the summer and participate in the quintessential American summer experience that is offered in Denver and the nearby mountains (Major League Baseball game, Brewery tours, the Ladies!).   Read More...

Image: Lady Bulldogs are USAFL National Champs for 2010!Beat Calgary in closely contested grand final - 3.1 (19) to 2.6 (18)

The Denver Bulldogs women's team won a closely contested match to win their first USAFL crown on Sunday, October 10, 2010 in Louisville, Kentucky. In a massively gutsy effort, the women got out to a quick lead and although there were several lead changes throughout; held off the defending national champs from Calgary for a 1 point win. Denver also beat the combined sides of Arizona/Columbus and New York/Baltimore on their way to the flag.

Congrats to Janell Myers for getting the Grand Final MVP award.

In another first for any USAFL team, the Denver Bulldogs sent all three representative teams to their respective Grand Final matches. Although the Div 1 and Div 4 men's teams both lost their final matches to very skilled New York sides, the women reigned supreme.   Read More...
